You guys most likely use more mics, PS3 seems to be seriously lacking mics; or if people bother to turn them on, they have it sitting somewhere while they listen to music or talk on their cellphone.

Personally i believe the reason Xbox users have more mics is because the Xbox System is much more mic friendly.
Example:
- they have a out of game party system
- the mics seem to be cheaper to get a hold of
- the controller has a mic input built in for easy access
